Associated Students, Incorporated supports the educational aspirations of CSUSB students.
As a result, ASI designates approximately $65,000 each year specifically to fund
undergraduate and graduate students to do research, travel related to research as well as
present at conferences. Increasingly students are seeking more and more financial assistance
to support this facet of their academic study so the ASI application process is becoming more
and more competitive. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly read each page of the ASI
application. Please stop by the Undergraduate Studies Office (UH-368), the Graduate Studies
Office (AD-127), or the ASI Office (SMSU RM-108) to pick up an application or apply online here.
The Undergraduate Application provides funding for:
:: Research for an independent study, academic course, or honor’s project
:: Presenting at a conference
:: Attending a conference
The Graduate Application provides funding for:
:: Research for an independent study, academic course, or honor’s project

We appreciate your interest in ASI funding and look forward to helping you
achieve your academic goals.
